DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Unsigned Iowa 952 begins at US 67 in Clinton and travels westerly; thence northerly and southerly each approximately 100 yards.

On September 28, 1982, the Iowa Department of Transportation, in resolution of abandonment number NRH‑419 abandoned all of the right‑of‑way constituting Unsigned Iowa 952. The official description of Unsigned Iowa 952 should be deleted from the primary road system to reflect this abandonment.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended to approve deleting the present description of Unsigned Iowa 952 in Clinton County from the primary road system.

Remove Unsigned Iowa 952 in Clinton County as follows:

Clinton:

Beginning on an unnamed street at US 67 near the north line of Sec. 19-T82N‑R7E; thence westerly on said unnamed street to a point on another unnamed street; thence southerly on unnamed street approximately .06 mile from said point; with a spur northerly on unnamed street from said point approximately .06 mile.

Due to a review of our Primary Road System Records Unsigned Iowa 952 in Clinton County should be officially included into the Primary System.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

Locate Unsigned Iowa 952 in Clinton County as follows:

Clinton:

Beginning on an unnamed street at US 67 near the north line of Sec. 19-T82N‑R7E; thence westerly on said unnamed street to a point on another unnamed street; thence southerly on unnamed street approximately .06 mile from said point; with a spur northerly on unnamed street from said point approximately .06 mile.

NOW, THEREFORE: Be it resolved that the Iowa Department of Transportation approve the location of Unsigned Iowa 952 in Clinton County, Iowa.

NOTE: To become effective upon the adoption of this resolution.
